Genetic dissection of Pax6 through genenetwork

Abstract

To introduce a new method about analysis of gene expression, upstream or downstream gene regulation, genetic regulatory network from the Analysis Tools of GeneNetwork (http://www.genenetwork.org). To better illustrate this approach, Pax6 were selected as an example. The analysis of Pax6 includes the revealing variation in expression of Pax6, expression quantitative trait locus (eQTL) mapping for Pax6, screening and positioning upstream gene of Pax6 and finally constructing genetic regulatory network of Pax6. Such dissection of Pax6 provides new direction and clues for further in-depth study of Pax6 function.
