Abstract

The Academy is well-positioned to lead the way in newer models of physician education with an important paradigm shift: education that is learner-driven. This model will focus on the customized, specific needs of the individual physician. We will emphasize the importance of true self-assessment to identify and demonstrate a link between medical education and changes in our knowledge, our practice, and our behavior as physicians.
