Abstract

The highly effective bioinformatics and software solutions developed in the laboratories of the Information Center for Neurogenetics are discussed. The images can be distributed from a large collection of histological slides to anyone with an Internet connection in full color. The Mouse Brain Library (MBL) serves statics images of slides and sections and also provides dynamic control of motorized microscoped located in distant laboratories. The MBL also contains atlases, magnetic resonance images (MRI) and databases on the brain structure and genetic makeup.
