Abstract

The eighth case of sialadenoma papilliferum is reported. This benign salivary gland tumor occurs most commonly in the palate of older men. Surgical excision appears the preferable treatment; recurrence is not expected. Although the histomorphology as described by Abrams and Finck is quite distinctive, we believe that the sialadenoma papilliferum shows very different histomorphologic states according to its stage of growth.
