Abstract

By the reaction of Cp3Nd or Cp3Yb (Op C5H5) with 8-hydro*vquinoline (f-chell) ) or o-aminophenol (H-chel2), seven compounds of the general formula OpnLn(chel)3_n(n = 1,2; Ln = Nd, Yb.) have been synthesized. We have studied and compared their thermal stability and disproportionation reactions at moderately high temperatures. In Preparing CpNd-(chel2)2, a mixture of disproDortionated products Op2NdCchel2) and Nd(chel2)3has been obtained instead of GpNd(chel2)2.
