Abstract

A novel boronated aminocyclobutanecarboxylic acid was synthesized in 10 steps for potential use in neutron capture therapy. The molecule was modeled after the unnatural amino acid 1-aminocyclobutanecarboxylic acid, which has shown high uptake in brain tumors.
