Abstract

Exchange transfusions using whole blood less than 24 hours old and deglycerolized red cells reconstituted with fresh‐frozen plasma were performed in two premature infants for the treatment of hyperkalemia and cardiac arrhythmia. Improvement of their condition was immediate. 1985 AABB
